CASE STUDY

“Arboreta created an all year round room that is loved and adored by the owner and guests alike.”

Our designer, Chris Piggott, did not want the new building to overpower the main house so a clean looking traditional orangery was designed with two glass lanterns to allow the light to flood in during the summer months. The natural light from two lanterns also created the feeling of separate areas, one for dining and one for seating. The solid wall to the boundary side creates privacy from the neighbours and is the perfect place for television. Floor to ceiling glazed oak windows gives clears sightlines and uninterrupted views down to the garden.

Nestled in a picturesque village, this 60’s house is surrounded by a large family garden. The existing kitchen extension was proving to be too small for the family and they needed more space to entertain and relax in.

The down lights in the ceiling work perfectly in the evenings to create that comfy room feel. A designer central light feature was also installed under each lantern, perfect when the room is transformed for entertaining and dinner parties.
